About Rebecca

I have been licensed in California as a Marriage & Family Therapist since 2000. My license number is MFC36895.

I began as an intern in 1995 at the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center. I also interned at the Hollywood YMCA & The HELP Group.

I worked at Matrix for chemical dependency treatment and also at Kaiser Permanente in the Department of Addiction Medicine. I saw a real need for sex addiction treatment while working with chemical dependency. This caused me to seek out sex addiction training.

I was at the Sexual Recovery Institute (SRI) for 13 months and worked under the clinical supervision of Robert Weiss, LCSW and Omar Minwalla, Psy.D.. I worked with individuals and ran groups for sex addicts. I also directed the partner/spouse group at the agency.

I have worked with all types of issues, but specialize in addictions and co-dependency. I also work with adult children of alcoholics.
